The cops then open fire as one officer opens the driver\u2019s door as Tatum tries to drive off, according to the footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Gun, gun!&#8221; one officer yells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Rock-Island-Police-Department-1-1024x576.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Rock-Island-Police-Department-1-1024x576.webp 1024w, https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Rock-Island-Police-Department-1-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Rock-Island-Police-Department-1-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Rock-Island-Police-Department-1.webp 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tatum tries to grab one officer\u2019s weapon as the car is in reverse and the weapon fires, shattering the passenger\u2019s window and grazing another cop\u2019s head,\u00a0according to the Quad City Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tatum, who had outstanding felony warrants, had been earlier spotted running through a nearby cemetery and ignored commands to stop and to &#8220;drop the gun&#8221; he had been carrying, the clip shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One officer also picked up a bag Tatum had dropped during the foot chase.
