The fallen soldiers, all members of the Givati Brigade or its supporting units, were identified as Capt. Daniel Mimon Toaff, 23; Staff Sgt. Agam Naim, 20; Staff Sgt. Amit Bakri, 21; and Staff Sgt. Dotan Shimon, 21. In the same battle, an officer and two other soldiers from the Shaked Battalion were seriously injured, while two others sustained moderate injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff Sgt. Naim, a paramedic, was the first female soldier to be killed in the ongoing ground operations in Gaza. She served in the 52<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Battalion of the 401<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Armored Brigade. Capt. Toaff, a deputy company commander, and Staff Sgts. Bakri and Shimon served in the Givati Brigade\u2019s Shaked Battalion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"490\" height=\"276\" src=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ByKec6vpA_0_0_850_479_0_large.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1979\" style=\"width:735px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ByKec6vpA_0_0_850_479_0_large.jpg 490w, https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/ByKec6vpA_0_0_850_479_0_large-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The soldiers\u2019 deaths brought the total number of Israeli troops killed since the start of the military\u2019s ground offensive in Gaza on October 27 to 348. In total, 713 Israeli soldiers have died in fighting since October 7.
