One near-fatal encounter was caught on camera.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Newly-released video shows a shootout between\u00a0two Pennsylvania troopers\u00a0and a man who about to be sentenced later this month for attempted murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daniel Clary, 22, opened fire on state troopers Ryan Seiple and\u00a0Seth Kelly\u00a0during a traffic stop in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, in November. Kelly knelt to shoot back, taking bullets to the leg and neck before leaping to find cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It marked a dramatic turn in what started with Clary being pulled over for speeding.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when the troopers tried to arrest Clary on suspicion of driving while high, he resisted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clary was then shot with a Taser. He fell into a lane of traffic and writhed on the ground.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the struggle, Kelly&#8217;s spare pistol somehow tumbled loose, although a few seconds later, Seiple secured it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"686\" height=\"386\" src=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/hq720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/hq720.jpg 686w, https:\/\/www.landingliker.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/hq720-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a few seconds, Kelly appeared to be in control.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But moments later, the troopers were punching and kicking, all but begging Clary to put his hands behind his back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Somehow Clary found his feet again and grabbed a pistol from his car. That was when he opened fire on the troopers. He then got inside the car and drove off.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kelly was left bleeding from a torn femoral artery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kelly, who applied his own tourniquet at the scene, was clinically dead and spent 12 days in a coma. He&#8217;s now recovering and plans to return to work with Seiple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clary was arrested at a hospital down the road.
