A Florida woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies say she removed her pants, spat on a deputy, and was struck by a deputy during a confrontation.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Texaco gas station at 101 Ponce De Leon Blvd. around 2 p.m. after receiving reports of a disorderly woman causing a disturbance outside the business.
Deputies say employees reported that 33-year-old Iesha Field was yelling at customers, behaving erratically, and disrupting the business. Employees requested that she be trespassed from the property, and deputies issued a trespass warning.
After leaving the gas station, Field went to a nearby mobile home park on West Jefferson Street, where deputies said her disruptive behavior continued.

According to investigators, Field removed most of her clothing and was wearing her underwear while yelling and disturbing residents, including a mother with children. The resident also requested that Field be trespassed from the property.
Deputies say Field appeared to be under the influence and refused repeated commands to go home. Authorities noted that Field had pre-existing injuries to her right knee and left eye at the time of the encounter.
When deputies attempted to take her into custody, they said Field became combative, resisted efforts to place her into a patrol vehicle, and repeatedly attempted to hit and kick deputies.
Authorities say Field continued acting aggressively inside the patrol vehicle, repeatedly banging her head and feet against the windows. When deputies opened the vehicle door to address her behavior, she fell from the vehicle while moving around inside, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputy M. LaPalme helped Field back into the patrol vehicle, investigators said. During the encounter, Field allegedly spit on the deputy’s face twice while he was attempting to secure her in the vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said Deputy LaPalme responded by striking her in the face after the second incident.
“Spit on me again! See what happens,” the deputy can be heard saying in body camera footage while holding Field by the neck.
His actions are currently under review.
Deputies reported that Field continued resisting during transport to the Hernando County Detention Center, leading officers to use additional restraints and a spit hood.
Field was booked for counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, a felony, and disorderly intoxication. She was booked into the Hernando County Detention Center and is being held on a $3,000 bond.
